    Changing Lives, One Meal and One Book at a Time

    This Community Outreach Event is a hands-on opportunity to combat hunger and promote literacy in Nassau County. 

    In Nassau County, about 9% of residents and over 13% of children live below the federal poverty line.

    In our public schools, around half of students rely on free or reduced-price lunches, and multiple campuses qualify as Title I schools, meaning they serve a high concentration of students from low-income households.

    Your support today helps make sure these children have nutritious meals and the tools they need to learn.

Hunger Fight is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating hunger and illiteracy in our communities. Since our founding, we have passionately worked to ensure that children, families, and seniors facing food insecurity have access to nutritious meals. Through innovative meal-packing events and community partnerships, we provide meals that nourish both body and spirit.

In addition to combating hunger, we aim to bridge the literacy gap by delivering age-appropriate books to children in need, fostering a love for reading and learning. Our dual mission of fighting hunger and promoting literacy empowers individuals and strengthens families, creating a brighter future for all.
