    Changing Lives, One Meal and One Book at a Time

    This Community Outreach Event is a hands-on opportunity to combat hunger and promote literacy in meaningful and impactful ways. Every table, every volunteer, and every donor contributes to a brighter future for children, families, and seniors in need.

    Hunger Fight provides over 16,000 children with nutritious meals each weekend through our Feed the Backpacks program and delivers age-appropriate books to over 4,200 preschoolers at local daycare centers through our Feed the Need to Read program across Central and Northeast Florida.

    By joining this event, you’re not just packing meals or donating funds—you’re packing hope and investing in a child’s future. Your participation helps us empower communities, ensuring no one goes hungry and every child has the tools they need to succeed.

Hunger Fight is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating hunger and illiteracy in our communities. Since our founding, we have passionately worked to ensure that children, families, and seniors facing food insecurity have access to nutritious meals. Through innovative meal-packing events and community partnerships, we provide meals that nourish both body and spirit.

In addition to combating hunger, we aim to bridge the literacy gap by delivering age-appropriate books to children in need, fostering a love for reading and learning.
